Keyword search across PubMed is slow and rigid when a clinician asks a nuanced question. We built a chat-style search engine over PubMed abstracts, starting with orthopedic research: a language model interprets the question, a vector database pulls candidate studies, and a re-ranking step puts the most relevant ones first.
